This term, we shall set weekly spellings on Spelling Frame and we are expecting the children to go onto TT Rock Stars at least three times per week. In addition to this we shall be sending home targeted times table practise.

Now the children are in Year 4, they do not need to sit and read to an adult every night, however they do need to read at home daily. To help with this, please ask your child questions about what they have read. In both classes, we shall have a raffle each week for the children who have read at home.

Please continue to support your child’s learning this term by:

• Talking to your child about returning to school
• Helping with any spellings and mental maths sent home
• Supporting with homework activities

Please leave toys and pencil cases at home as these may cause upsets between the children.
