We had a great day today emerging ourselves into the Victorian Era.
We built on our previous knowledge by experiencing what life would be like as a child going to school in from 1837-1901.
We looked the part and found it strange that girls had to line up separately to boys. We focused on the three Rs, which were Reading, wRiting and Arithmetic. We also played Victorian games and made victorian toys. We also wore the dunce hat.
What an eye opener!
