Year 6 have continued to work very hard in preparation for their upcoming SATS. As a class reward for their focus on reading and use of Reading Plus the children opted to have a pancake feast, for which they provided a very clear and detailed shopping list for Miss Nickolls!
The writing in Year 6 continues to progress very well and have written some fantastic non-chronological reports. The stamina for writing as well as content has improved greatly. The Spring term was very busy with lots of learning across the curriculum. I am proud of the children for their engagement in additional learning: Easter learning tasks, extra learning within Showbie, early morning booster sessions and CGP revision books. Thank you to families for supporting across the term with this.
They have also enjoyed a range of Easter crafts, which also provided some well-deserved relaxation.
